Vicotria
CLINICAL OFFICE MANAGER
Victoria graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s in psychology and is now pursuing her graduate degree at George Mason University in clinical mental health counseling. Prior to working at MNTC, she was a wellness associate providing support to individuals recovering from substance use. “I find comfort in knowing that regardless of our trials and tribulations, we can find a path to healing.” Victoria enjoys sports, spending time with family & friends, and trying new restaurants!
Veronika
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE MANAGER
Veronika graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BA in Sociology and Women, Gender, and Sexualities and has been working in the mental health field for 2 years. In school, she specialized in disability justice and removing barriers in the healthcare field. Prior to working at MNTC, she was a Medication Management Administrator for a Northern Virginia mental health practice. From her studies to her field experience, she hopes to continue to help patients get access to care. “Fighting through depression and mental illnesses is already difficult. If I can take any stress off the patient like insurance or lending them an ear, I will do it in a heartbeat.” When Veronika is not at work, she enjoys bouldering, golfing, walking her two Pomeranians, and singing at karaoke.
Jenny
Psychiatric Technician
Jenny Tomlinson has been working in mental health since 2016. She is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor and holds degrees in psychology and media studies. Before coming to work at Mclean NTC last year, she was employed by the City of Alexandria DCHS providing direct care to patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. “I have so much respect for people who keep working towards the kind of life they really want, even after battling prolonged adversity. Please have compassion for yourself and don’t give up.”
WHITNEY
Director of Marketing/Psychiatric Technician
Whitney completed her Bachelor of Science in psychology at George Mason University and is currently enrolled in their Clinical Mental Health Counseling master's program. Before joining our team, she was a recovery counselor offering compassionate support to individuals struggling with eating disorders at a residential facility. Her previous experience and passion for the field enables her to provide a comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients. “I am so grateful to have the opportunity to get to know each patient and support them in their journey to self-discovery, growth, and healing”. Whitney enjoys hiking & reading, is a lover of all animals, and finds joy in spending quality time with close friends.
Sierra
Psychiatric Technician
Sierra completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Southeast Missouri State University, and she is now pursuing a Master of Arts in Forensic and Legal Psychology at Marymount University. Sierra has worked in the mental health field for years and loves being able to make a difference. "I feel honored to work in such a compassionate practice, and I am so inspired by the patients I meet every single day." Sierra has experience at various organizations including substance abuse rehabilitation, youth residential, and inpatient psychiatric hospitals. When not at work, Sierra enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with her cat and husband!
REBEKAH
Insurance Coordinator
Rebekah is currently completing her BA in psychology and has been working in the healthcare setting for 4 years. “I greatly value the role I play in providing relief for the individuals pursuing treatment with us. Providing genuine care to each and every patient is my primary goal. I am honored to be a part of their journey in seeking relief from depression.” Rebekah’s hobbies include making art, gardening, origami, going to concerts and loving on her cats.
John
Psychiatric Technician
John graduated from Purdue University Global with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is now pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology at George Mason University. Before working at MNTC, John enlisted in the United Stares Air Force for six years, where he developed a strong passion for serving others. John joined MNTC with the complete understanding that supporting one’s mental health is vital to fulfilling the whole self. “Being able to provide genuine and compassionate care is something I highly value, and I am grateful to play any part in the progress we see with our patients.” John likes to spend his time reading, listening to music, and spending time with loved ones.
Eric
Psychiatric Technician
Eric is currently pursuing a graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling at George Mason University. Prior to working with MNTC, he was an English teacher in Japan and a communications specialist in Northern Virginia. Eric is passionate about hearing perspectives from a wide variety of people as a means to help them process their feelings. “I am inspired by the positive change I see in clients receiving treatment with us. It helps me to see that there is always a way forward.” Eric’s hobbies include spending time with loved ones, watching movies, playing video games, and hiking.
Marjorie
Psychiatric Technician
Marjorie completed her undergrad at Virginia Tech with a degree in Psychology and is currently planning on continuing higher education in the mental health field. Prior to joining MNTC she was a TMS technician for over a year and is a big advocate for TMS treatment. Her previous work experience fueled her passion to help people fight their depression and find strength through tribulations . "I've seen many people respond so well to these alternative treatments; healing is truly possible." Marjorie looks forward to working with patients to start their journey on self-care and finding hope again. During her free time, she enjoys working out, reading, being with family and friends and her cat as well.
